Honor A Hero Brick Campaign
The General Walton H. Walker-Chapter 215 of the Korean War Veterans Association is spearheading construction of the long-awaited Korean War and Korean Defense Veterans Memorial that will be centrally located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Arlington, Texas. The memorial will be adjacent to the existing World War II and Vietnam War Memorials in Veterans Park, only 14 miles from DFW National Cemetery. The Memorial will feature a brick pavilion, including 2,600 red and pewter pavers. The Honor A Hero brick campaign will allow DFW citizens to pledge a donation to reserve a 4 X 8 brick or 8 X 8 paver inscribed with the name, unit information, and designation as MIA, KIA, POW.
